Many of you are familiar with, have participated in, and are part of the Connected School, Alliance for the Study of School Climate, or Pilot Schools Network communities and have utilized their services, products and systems. The collaboration between New View and the Alliance for the Study of School Climate is one that merges decades of research and exceptional products, services and seminars into a new system called the Transformative Connected School (TCS).

Not all school improvement programs are alike. The TCS System is fundamentally different and superior in a number of significant ways to the many school improvement "programs" that are available today. The TCS System will enable you to understand what is limiting growth and achievement in your school or district, lay out a road map for your success and provide facilitation, training and tools to help you get there. It offers a unique model and roadmap and combines 50 years of research. The TCS System is not a program; it is a system of principle-based interventions that operate to fundamentally and sustainably educate and as a result, change schools.

What You Can Expect from a Transformative Connected School?

  • A sense of community and connectedness among everyone at the school
  • An understanding of Perceptual Control Theory which provides a common language for discussing problems and potential solutions
  • A "psychology of success" that pervades every aspect of the school
  • Higher student achievement
  • Improved student behavior
  • Better classroom and school climate
  • Better student interactions
  • Less bullying
  • Better teacher-teacher interactions
  • A sense of school pride and vision
