Perry has taught disadvantaged youths, counseled runaways, and instructed mental health professionals who work with teenagers and adults. She received her Master’s Degree in educational anthropology from New York University and worked closely for many years with Dr. William Glasser as a senior faculty member of the William Glasser Institute. Perry is a founding member of the International Association for Applied Control Theory (IAACT).
